Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the TrackBee Chrome Extension and the usetrackbee.com website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TrackBee is a browser-based tool that extracts public job posting metadata (such as Job Title, Company, Compensation, and URL) from supported third-party platforms and transmits this data to a Google Sheet designated by you. TrackBee does not guarantee employment, interviews, or the accuracy of the data extracted from third-party sites.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its original code, features, functionality, and design assets (including the "Mr. Bee" mascot and TrackBee branding), are owned by TrackBee and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our extension.

4. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree to use TrackBee strictly for your personal, non-commercial job search process. You agree not to:

• Use the extension for automated, bulk, or malicious scraping of data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or the systems of the third-party platforms we support.

5. Third-Party Services & Broken Scraper Policy

TrackBee relies on the Document Object Model (DOM) of third-party websites (e.g., LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday). We are not affiliated with these entities. If a third-party site updates its layout, TrackBee's extraction features may temporarily break. We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted compatibility and are not liable for missed data due to such third-party changes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available."

TrackBee expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

Because TrackBee writes directly to your Google Sheet and does not maintain a backup database of your records, we cannot recover lost data. In no event shall TrackBee be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, loss of opportunities, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
