Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 2026

TrackBee ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. We built this extension to solve a simple problem - helping job seekers track their applications with zero friction. This policy explains exactly what data we access, how it is used, and why you are always in control.

1. Information We Access (And What We Don't)

To function correctly, TrackBee requires certain permissions in your browser. Here is exactly what happens:

2. How Your Data is Used

The sole purpose of accessing job page data (like Job Title, Company, and Compensation) is to transport it into your designated Google Sheet.

TrackBee does not have a central database. We do not intercept, store, or copy your job applications on any external servers owned by us. Your data flows directly from your local browser to your Google account via the official Google Sheets API.

3. Google API Services Disclosure

TrackBee's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you authenticate TrackBee with your Google Account, we request the minimum permissions necessary to append rows to the specific spreadsheet URL you provide. We cannot read your emails, and we do not have access to your other Google Drive files.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

Because we do not store your data, we have nothing to sell. TrackBee will never sell, rent, or share your job search history, preferences, or any other information to recruiters, advertisers, or third-party data brokers. Period.

5. Chrome Web Store Compliance

This privacy policy is provided to comply with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies. TrackBee is designed with a single purpose: to facilitate the rapid saving of job posting metadata into a user-owned Google Sheet.
